why do the words feel the need to come to me
when i need a change in release?
the loss killed the spark,
and every anxiety had flooded over me.
(and now i can barely breathe)

how can i spell it out so that the hangman won't swing around?

the space in which you occupy
it's hard to find a guiding light.
can't say you tried.

how can i search for a shift in my beliefs
when i see the shame it precedes?
the art left a mark and all of the pageantry
could never appeal to me

did you even try?
did you even attempt to fill in the blanks?
i was force fed all of my mistakes.
